Fossmoen is a small village in
Målselv municipality,Norway , just a 5 minute drive fromBardufoss Airport . The village is named after the nearby waterfall “Bardufossen” which might be a spectacular sight when the water is allowed to flow in its natural course.Its population in 1999 was 398 [cite paper | author=Statistics Norway | title=Urban settlements. The local folklore museum Fossmotunet, which is a part of the Midt-Troms Museum is located here. It is built as a farm from the 19th century, using original buildings from Målselv. The museum is open to visitors only in the summer season.
