Donna Dewberry

Donna S. Dewberry (born 6 November 1953) is an American Mormon artist and author. She developed the "One Stroke" painting technique. She has written more than 70 books. She is a columnist for various magazines including Tole World, Painting magazine and Decorative Artists Workbook. She also has a public television show, One Stroke Painting with Donna Dewberry, on UNC-TV. In 2007, One Stroke Painting was replaced with The Donna Dewberry Show. Many of her products are regular features in Neiman-Marcus, Horchow and Spiegel. Donna has produced more than 70 books and 30 instructional videos. Donna's home textiles have been sold at Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, JC Penny, JoAnn's and Michael's to name a few. Donna has over 6,000 certified instructors teaching her One Stroke technique around the world.

One Stroke Technique- Is a double loading technique that consists of loading a brush with two separate colors. With her technique you are able to achieve the shading and highlighting in one stroke.

Donna Dewberry is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.[1]

Donna Dewberry's book, "I Believe in Angels," is dedicated to her daughter, Marie, who died May 5, 2000.
