"Jintachi (no) koshirae" is the primary style of mounting used for
Tachi ,Japan esesword s, where the sword is suspended edge-down from two hangers attached to the obi. Thehilt "(tsuka)" often had a slightly stronger curvature than theblade , continuing the classic tachi increase in curvature as you go from the tip to the hilt.
