Lollicup

.

Lollicup operates under Trademark License model, under which the licensees (operators) maintain complete control over the store, with out having to pay for the royalty fee. Lollicup also made their products available online on their website for non-licensed customers. Lollicup's U.S. Headquarters, Lollicup USA, has also since expanded and branched into disposable food container manufacturing/distribution. They now manufacture and distribute their Karat line of disposable food containers/wares through various foodservice distributors and Cup Depot.

Many Lollicup locations are in predominantly Asian American communities, although some outlets may be found in non-Asian areas as the chain is expanding. Store locations are most common in California but are also found in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Utah, and Virginia. Lollicup opened its first store in San Gabriel, CA in 2000, but has grown such that as of May 2007, there are 85 stores in operation in California, over 20 operating stores outside of California, and more stores scheduled to open.

In addition to franchises, Lollicup branded teas and beverages are available for purchase at unaffiliated stores.

Some Lollicup locations, such as in Rancho Cordova, CA, offer Internet access through PC terminals located in the dining area.

As of 2007 Lollicup pulled out of Texas due to local competition in the Houston and Dallas markets. Lollicup also exited Illinois, Kansas, and Ohio.
