Philogyny

Philogyny

Philogyny is fondness towards women, love or admiration for them. [Oxford English Dictionary] An antonym of misogyny.

Cicero reports the word could be used in Greek philosophy to denote being over-fond of women, a disease comparable with the disease of misogyny. [Quoted with full reference at misogyny.]

In addition, the other two connotations in terms of men are as follows: since the word "man" or, in Greek, "anér-andros" has its form as "andr-ia" in its word combination, is fondness towards men, whereas Misandry is the hatred of men.
