indie band from Olympia, Portland and Chicago, in the 1990s. The founding members wereRebecca Gates (guitar , vocals) andScott Plouf (drums).Rebecca Gates also sang back up vocals on theElliott Smith song "St. Ides Heaven", and on theBen Lee song "Grampaw Would". Also, she contributed a song to the "Free to Fight " project.Scott Plouf played drums on theBeck album "One Foot on the Grave", the firstTeam Dresch 7", the Thrones 7", and theJason O.D. Traeger song "The Wedding Album". Scott joinedBuilt to Spill in 1996 and has played on all of their Warner Bros. releases.Discography
