"Psi-Man" is a series of six novels writted by
Peter David (originally writing under thepseudonym "David Peters"). The books were published starting in 1990 byDiamond Books , and the series was re-released byAce Books in 2000 (under David's real name).The series concerns Chuck Simon, a teacher who develops
psionic powers includingtelepathy andtelekinesis , but his abilities are discovered by a government agency who wish to turn Chuck into a covert weapon. He goes on the run across adystopia n future landscape of ruined ecologies and elaborate entertainment facilities, often encountering others with strange abilities and mutations.The six books in the series are:
1. "Psi-Man: Mind-Force Warrior" (1990)
2. "Psi-Man: Deathscape" (1991)
3. "Psi-Man: Main Street D.O.A." (1991)
4. "Psi-Man: The Chaos Kid" (1991)
5. "Psi-Man: Stalker" (1991)
6. "Psi-Man: Haven" (1992)
The books are unusually short for stand-alone novels (most just over 200 pages).
