Anton ("Toni") Innauer (born
April 1 ,1958 inBezau ,Vorarlberg ) is anAustria n former ski jumper who competed during the late 1970s and early 1980s.His best known success was at the
1980 Winter Olympics inLake Placid, New York , where he won a gold medal in the Individual normal hill event. Innauer also won a silver medal in the Individual large hill at the1976 Winter Olympics inInnsbruck and the ski jumping event at theHolmenkollen ski festival in 1975. He also won the silver medal at theSki flying World Championships inVikersund in 1977.In 1987, he graduated from the
University of Graz with a degree in philosophy, psychology, and sports science. His thesis was on the sociology of ski jumping. 1987-1989, he was ski jumper and ski jumping coach. 1989-1992 and 2001-2002, he was coach of the Austrian ski jumping team. 1993-2001 and since 2002, he is director of nordic skiing in the Austrian skiing federation (ÖSV).External links
