Trix Records was a
record label set up in 1972 byPeter B. Lowry (f/k/a Pete Lowry) with a handful of 45s; by 1973, LPs were being released to great critical acclaim if minimal sales!. It lasted about a decade as an active label dealing mainly withPiedmont blues artists from the Southeastern states (the focus of Lowry's folkloric field research) with around eighteen albums in its catalog at the time of their sale to Joe Fields ofMuse Records .Its roster released on LP included
