His surname is derived fromBlack Drin , a river flowing through his hometown. Some of his works include "Makedonska Krvava Svadba" ("Macedonian Blood Wedding") which was translated into a film, "Makedonski Zgovor" ("Macedonian Word"), "Makedonsko Vostanie" ("Macedonian Uprising"), "Drvari", "Zlo za Zlo", "Do Koga" ("Until When") and "Buntovnik" among others.References
