Voydan Chernodrinski

Voydan Chernodrinski ( _bg. Войдан Чернодрински; _mk. Војдан Чернодрински, trasnliterated Vojdan Černodrinski) (born January 15, 1875 in Struga, present day Republic of Macedonia - died January 8, 1951, Sofia, Bulgaria) (born Voydan Pop-Georgiev Kuzmanov [спомени на В. Чернодрински, в. “Македонски вести”, София, 1936 г., бр. 70-75 Chernodrinski's memories] ) was a playwright and dramatist from the region of Macedonia. His surname is derived from Black Drin, a river flowing through his hometown. Some of his works include "Makedonska Krvava Svadba" ("Macedonian Blood Wedding") which was translated into a film, "Makedonski Zgovor" ("Macedonian Word"), "Makedonsko Vostanie" ("Macedonian Uprising"), "Drvari", "Zlo za Zlo", "Do Koga" ("Until When") and "Buntovnik" among others.
