The county contains four other towns:Koźmin Wielkopolski , convert|16|km|mi|0|abbr=on north of Krotoszyn,Zduny , convert|6|km|mi|0|abbr=on south-west of Krotoszyn,Kobylin , convert|14|km|mi|0|abbr=on west of Krotoszyn, andSulmierzyce , convert|12|km|mi|0|abbr=on south-east of Krotoszyn.The county covers an area of convert|714.23|km2|sqmi|1.
