Juan March Institute

, one of Spain's leading charities for social research. The objective of the institute is to achieve an effect equally through scientific publications and training the next academic generation.

Academic Focus

The Instituto Juan March de Estudios e Investigaciones is devoted to cutting-edge research in social science with a focus on political economy, voting and party competition [Juan March Institute [http://www.march.es/ceacs/ingles/ceacs.asp website] . The main lines of research are the study of the social structure and processes of change in advanced contemporary societies, their political and economic systems and cultural and historical roots. Both teaching and research in the Institute are strongly orientated towards methodological issues and comparative approaches in the social sciences.
