Turkmun

Turkmun (Turkmany people) belong to the Hazara tribe. However the Turkmany people have more of the Caucasoid admixture which sets them apart from other Hazaras, therefore making them more recognizable.

Turkmany people are the descendants of Tamerlame and Turko-Mongol tribes that inhabited the region. TheTurkany people The Turkmany people settled in the valley some three to four centuries ago.

Turkmun have a their own variant of the Persian/Dari language know as Turkmauny spoken by the rest of country.
