Securinfo

Securinfo is a software company that was formed in 1994 that is headquartered near Johannesburg South Africa in Midrand. Securinfo primarily develops and licenses information security methods and associated application software, with a focus on SAP corporate governance especially in the areas of role and risk management. It has, as of 2006, invested $25 million in SAP application security and partners with both SAP and major accounting firms and integrators. It is privately owned and is both managed and funded by former professional accountants.

Securinfo on 8th July 2004 was a founding member of the "Global Security Alliance", together with SAP-SI, SECUDE, SecurIntegration and other security vendors, consulting and audit partners. The aim of the Global Security Alliance is to ensure optimal security for SAP Software users, through consulting and support to ensure clear segregation of duties (Sarbanes Oxley, CLERP-9, Policy 52-109, Bill 198, J-SOX, Basel II and similar compliance) together with clear role and risk management and simple generation and use of mitigating controls.
