Treaty of Játiva

Treaty of Jativa was signed in 1244 between the Christian King Jaime I of Aragon and the Muslim commander Ibn Hud in Xativa in the Iberian Peninsula. The treaty lays out generous terms of surrender to the Moors where they are allowed to hold on the Castle of Jativa for a period of two years before handing it over to the Christian monarchy.
