Birniehill is an area of the Scottish new town East Kilbride, in South Lanarkshire. It lies between the Town Centre and St Leonards.
Birniehill is the site of the National Engineering Laboratories, once home to a small nuclear reactor.
Birniehill roundabout is also the start point of the A725 road which continues North then East to Hamilton.
