Tak Sakaguchi (坂口拓 "Sakaguchi Taku", b. March 15, 1975) is a Japanese actor. Best known for his lead role in the cult Japanese film "Versus", Sakaguchi is a martial artist, and as a result typically stars in films featuring copious fight scenes, where he performs his own stunts. Sakaguchi is well skilled in Bājíquán, Shaolin Kenpo, boxing, kick boxing, and mixed martial arts. Sakaguchi is a Christian. ["Battlefield Baseball" DVD commentary.] ["Featurette 1" on "Battlefield Baseball" DVD.]

Before breaking into film, Tak Sakaguchi was a street fighter who was well-known for his martial art skills. He was discovered by the then-unknown director Ryuhei Kitamura to star in "Versus," the movie that would change both of their lives. Since appearing in that film, he has appeared in several roles in films directed by Ryuhei Kitamura; in particular the "Azumi" series, his short in the "Jam Films" titled The Messenger (Requiem for the Dead) and minor roles in "Aragami" and "Alive". He played a larger role in the quirky yet successful "Battlefield Baseball", but has yet to acquire the same success he did with "Versus".

2006 saw Sakaguchi in more mainstream films like "", as a supporting character and as the main character of "Death Trance". In the latter he plays a character similar to his role in Versus.

Sakaguchi guest-starred in the Japanese tokusatsu show, Kamen Rider Kabuto, as a main villain (Reiji Nogi/Cassisworm).
