Gaurella is a town and a nagar panchayat in Bilaspur district in the state of Chhattisgarh, India.

Gaurella is known as Pendraroad also. Pendra road is the nearest Railway station. Pendra road is on Bilaspur Katni Rly route of south eastern central railway. If you want to go to holy TIRTH Amarkantak,(which is origin of Holy river Narmada, Son & Juhila.) Pendra road is the nearest railway station for Amarkantak and Jwaleshwar mahadev. Jwaleshwar mahadev is a well known Tirth of Shankar bhagwan. Tirth yatri (Pilgrims) from all over India came here in the month of Shrawan. It is belief of all Hindu that Jwaleshwar mahadev is swayambhu shivling. Jwaleshwar mahadev is in Pendraroad Block of Chhattisgarh, Jwaleshwar mahadev is only 20 km from Pendraroad. It is all weather reacheble. Many Dharmshala, Lodges.Hotels.and restaurent are easily available at Pendraroad and amarkantal. Climate of Gaurella is very good. (Gau+rela=gaurela:- means crowd of cows). Vishnu Bhog rice and honey are very tasty and popular products of this area.
