EACA International Ltd was a
Hong Kong -based electronics manufacturer active during the 1970s and early-1980s. They were founded by Eric Chung, a businessman born in mainlandChina who crossed the border into the (then) British colony. [http://www.webweavers.co.nz/system-80/eaca.htm]EACA produced
Pong -style televisionvideo game s, and later produced a line of computers under the "Genie" name. These included theVideo Genie s I, II and III (which were Tandy TRS-80 Model I-compatible) and theColour Genie .Just as distributors were promoting a new
16-bit machine in late 1983, the company went bankrupt. Eric Chung was reported to have fled Hong Kong, although there were doubts as to his whereabouts following this.External links
