A.Nodarse is a prominent Cuban-American poet and rapper. He was raised in Miami's southwest side and lived there until moving to Tallahassee to complete his Masters Degree. The son of Latin American scholar, Nodarse is best known for his work with the rap group known as The SouthSide. His time spent as a scholar informs his poetry, which he has been writing since the age of six.

After the publication of several poems, including "Relief" and "When it Falls", Nodarse focused his attention on completing his degree and making The SouthSide a successful force within Florida's Hip hop community.

A.'s work as a scholar centers around the way Hip Hop affects language, communication, and the way it reshapes meaning. He is a New School Hip Hop historian and scholar, working to preserve Hip Hop's "Old School" aesthetic and sensibilities while doing his part to usher the movement into a future that respects its past.
