Brahmapuri is a city and a municipal council in Chandrapur district in the state of Maharashtra, India.

Geography

Brahmapuri is located at coord|20.36|N|79.51|E|. It has an average elevation of 229.5 metres (753 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, [GR|India] Brahmapuri had a population of 31,200. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%.
