February 2 ,1971 inFrankfurt ,West Germany ) is a defender who played forTSV 1860 Munich and Yugoslavia.Komljenović has spent almost all of his playing career in Germany, where he was born.
Despite never playing club football in (what was then) Yugoslavia, in 1994 Komljenović was called up to the international side. He made his debut in a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Brazil in December 1994. Although he was unable to hold a regular place in the squad and played little part in qualification, Komljenović was part of the squad taken to the World Cup in France where he made three starts, scoring twice.
Komljenović appeared at the
2000 European Football Championship tournament inBelgium and theNetherlands having made three appearances (again all starts) in the qualifying stages, netting once against Spain.With 287 games and 12 goals in 12 seasons of German football, he retired in 2006.
