Fictional character biography
Nicknamed "America's bronze goddess of freedom," Liberty Girl was created with a backstory in which she was a hero from 1938 through early 1956, but went missing and was presumed dead until suddenly reappearing on July 4, 2006, the 230th anniversary of the
United States 'Declaration of Independence .There are hints in the comic that Liberty Girl (real name: Elena Hunter) is the daughter of
Doc Savage , who for copyright reasons is not named. Doc Savage associate Theodore "Ham" Brooks appears as an aging US Senator and Elena's godfather.External links
