Gallura is a geographical and cultural region in northern
Sardinia ,Italy . In theMiddle Ages , it formed it was one of the four "giudicati " of the island.The main towns and villages are
Olbia ,Tempio Pausania ,La Maddalena ,Arzachena andCalangianus . Is part of the new province of "Olbia-Tempio " with Olbia and Tempio Pausania as administrative capitals.People locally speak the "
gallurese ", adiasystem ofSardinian language , strictly connected with southern dialects ofCorsican language .There is an airport and port in Olbia. Industries including cork, granite, and food exist in Olbia and Tempio. There is tourism in the
