"Paracorophium" is a genus of amphipods in the family Corophiidae.

At least three species are known, one from New Zealand ("P. lucasi"), one from Chile, and one from Palau.

"Paracorophium" species live typically in brackish water.

"P. lucasi" was for some time known as "Chaetocorophium lucasi", based on a false description. [Chapman "et al." 2002]
