Nimrod Line Squadron

Nimrod Line Squadron

The Nimrod Line Squadron (NLS) are responsible for the day to day servicing and first line maintenance of the Nimrod MR2 based at RAF Kinloss in Scotland.

NLS operates out of No. 2 Hangar and is split into 3 shifts: A, B and C. Each shift is led by a JENGO and a Flight Sergeant.

Trade work is carried out by one of the six desks: Airframe, Propulsion, Electrical, Mission Systems, Tactical Seonsors, Armourer. Each desk has a trade manager who runs his/her team.
