The Montecristo No. 4 is the world's best selling Cuban cigar.[citation needed] It is half an hour, up to one hour's smoke, and is generally considered an excellent starting point for those new to Cuban cigars.

Numerous flavours can be detected in any cigar, and flavours vary from smoke to smoke and smoker to smoker, but many smokers have noticed a heavy earthy undertone with tangy chocolate and coffee notes.

The strength of the cigar is classified as "medium to full."[1]

History

The Montecristo No. 4 was the preferred cigar of Argentine revolutionary leader Ernesto "Che" Guevara.
