Early career
Kaźmierczak started his professional career in the 1999-2000 season with Polish side
ŁKS Łódź before moving to Piotrcovia Piotrków Trybunalski and thenPogoń Szczecin , before a successful loan spell at Boavista during the 2006/07 season, where he hit 5 goals in 28 matches. This form brought him to the attention ofFC Porto who signed him from Pogoń in July 2007 for a fee of around €1.4m.FC Porto
Kaźmierczak struggled to break into the first team at Porto during his first season with the club, being restricted to just 11 appearances as the club won its third successive Liga Sagres title. He also made one appearance in the Champions League, playing 65 minutes as Porto lost 4-1 away to Liverpool.
Kaźmierczak's disappointing first season at Porto saw him linked with a move away from the club and, on

Whilst at Piotrcovia Piotrków Trybunalski, Kaźmierczak was called into the Poland U-18 national team and was part of the team that won the European championship. He eventually forced his way into the first team squad following his successful spell with Boavista and has so far earned 9 caps, scoring once and helping his country qualify for the 2008 European Championships in
