Almu

:"For the village in Azerbaijan, see Almu, Azerbaijan."Almu is a town in western Ethiopia, one of three located in the Pawe Special Woreda of the Benishangul-Gumuz Region.

Based on data from the Central Statistical Agency, in 2005 this town had an estimated total population of 3,419 of whom 1,702 were males and 1,717 were females. [ [http://www.csa.gov.et/text_files.2005_national_statistics.htm CSA 2005 National Statistics] , Table B.3] According to the 1994 national census, its total population was 1,987 of whom 985 were males and 1,002 were females. It is the largest town in Pawe.
