The Organization of Independent Software Vendors (OISV) is a co-operative of developers, marketers, distributors, and retailers that combine their resources to create better and affordable software for users.

History

The OISV was founded in May, 2006 by CoffeeCup Software and is sponsored by such companies as Tucows, Download.com, Alcohol Software, Lunarpages, Special K Software and VanDyke Software.
