Pierre Bonhomme is a Toronto-based independent film-maker. He works closely with a talented group of producing partners including Kerry Young (Spruce Street Pictures) and Darren Portelli (Spiral Media).
After working for many years as an architect in cities such as Berlin, New York and
Dubai , Bonhomme returned to Toronto to start a new career in film. He worked in the art departments on television seriesQueer as Folk and features such asNew York Minute , starringthe Olsen Twins ,Cheaper By The Dozen 2 , with Steve Martin and Eugene Levy, and most recently,It's A Boy Girl Thing , starringKevin Zegers and produced by theElton John andDavid Furnish company Rocket Pictures.Recently, Pierre was Art Director on the
Bruce McDonald feature "The Tracey Fragments " and the art house feature, Neil, by award-winning directorBoris Mojsovski . Pierre recently completed his second short film as director, "Do Not Bend", with Mojsovski as Director of Photography, written byJudith Klassen and funded byBravo!FACT .Bonhomme has been interviewed by the National Screen Institute. Bonhomme has a wide range of television and documentary projects in development, and is currently completing a feature screenplay with wonder kid screenwriter Evan Thaler Hickey. He lives and works in Toronto, Canada and will be spending this winter in
Essaouira , Morocco to complete his writing assignments.
