- William Bredin
William Fletcher Bredin was a politician and pioneer from
Canada .In the 1905 Alberta provincial election, William ran for the
Alberta Liberal Party and was acclaimed for the Athabasca electoral district.On
September 10 ,1907 William married Anna Brown Marsh in an elaborate wedding.In the 1909 Alberta provincial election William was defeated by
Jean Côté who also ran under the Liberal banner, in a rare case of the same party running two candidates in aFirst Past the Post electoral district.In the 1913 Alberta provincial election William would try again at provincial politics running as an Independent Liberal in the Peace River electoral district. He was badly defeated coming in last.
William Bredin died on
