Baron Phillimore, of
Shiplake in the County of Oxford, is a title in thePeerage of the United Kingdom . It was created in 1918 for Sir Walter Phillimore, 2nd Baronet, a former Judge of theHigh Court of Justice andLord Justice of Appeal . The Baronetcy, of The Coppice, had been created in theBaronetage of the United Kingdom on28 December 1881 for his father Sir Robert Joseph Phillimore, who was also a noted lawyer and judge.
