Paul Honeyford

Paul Honeyford (born Urmston, 1958) hails from Manchester and is the author of three successful biographical works. His first book, "The Modern World By Numbers" (ISBN-10: 085965219X), was first published in 1980 and documented the rise of the highly popular British band The Jam. The book has since been reprinted and updated. His following projects – biographies of Hollywood actor Harrison Ford (ISBN-10: 0283993200) and singer Michael Jackson (ISBN-10: 0688040942) – both sold well. For some years Paul worked on a number of English magazines including the late-lamented 'Vox' magazine edited by Bob Dylan biographer Patrick Humphries as well as working as an editor and illustrator for Quality Comics, a renowned English independent publisher owned by the indefatigable Des Skinn.

In the 1990s Honeyford qualified as a teacher, thus following in the footsteps of his father Ray Honeyford.

Paul is known as a world authority on British rock band The Who and has a peerless collection of Who music and memorabilia. He is currently studying Japanese and Spanish.
