Samuel Chandanappally (May 13, 1940 - July 3, 2000), born C.D Samuel was an Indian writer and orator.

In his lifetime, he had written around 30 books in Malayalam. Of which his book, titled Malankara Sabha Pithakkanmar that contains the study about the writings of the holy fathers of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian ChurchCommunity is considered as a reference text.

Dr. Samuel Chandanappally had collected almost all writings of Saint Gregoroios of Parumala after research of a very long period and published them with the title 'Holy writings' (Pavithra rachanakal) in 1980.
