Tatyana Nikitina (beauty contestant)

Tatyana Nikitina of Russia is the first winner of Miss Asia Pacific Quest from her country.

At the finals held in Quezon City, Philippines in October 2003, she edged out India's delegate, Shonal Rawat, despite giving almost the same answer in the final question, by winning two major awards: "Best in Swimsuit" and "Best in Evening Gown". Still, the competition was stiff as Shonal won three of the minor awards: "Miss Talent", "Miss Congeniality" and "Best in Filipino Terno".
