East 105th Street is grade-level station on the BMT Canarsie Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of East 105th Street and Turnbull Avenue in Brooklyn, it is served by the NYCS service|L train at all times.
The waiting area above the platform affords picturesque views of the trains and tracks. At the very end of this station, there was formerly a gate-protected level crossing, the only one in the New York City Subway. It was eliminated in 1969.
Next to the Manhattan-bound track a bumper track leads to the Canarsie Yard.
