Liu Pan was a warrior under Liu Bei during the Three Kingdoms Period of China. Liu Pan was the nephew of Liu Biao. Liu Pan at one time led many courageous attacks on Yang and fought against Taishi Ci of Wu. After the Battle of Chi Bi (which is also known as the Battle of Red Cliffs) Liu Pan joined under Liu Bei on the recommendation of Huang Zhong, one of the later Five Tigers of Shu. Liu Pan was afterwards placed in charge of Chang Sha.
