The Review of Financial Studies is an academic journal published by the Society for Financial Studies since 1988. Editorial operations are housed at its executive editor's university: currently the Yale School of Management.
Its current executive editor is Matthew Spiegel, who received a Ph.D. in economics from Princeton University in 1987. The Journal of Finance, the Review of Financial Studies and the Journal of Financial Economics are considered the three most prestigious finance journals in the world.
