Plattling is a town in the district of Deggendorf, in Bavaria, Germany.

During World War II, a subcamp of Flossenburg concentration camp was located here. [Christine O'Keefe."Concentration Camps."www.tartanplace.com/tartanhistory/concentrationcamps.html] The town is situated on the river Isar, 9 km southwest of Deggendorf, just before the river enters the Danube.
