"The Drought" is the eleventh episode of the first season of the HBO television series "Sex and the City". It originally aried on August 16 1998.
All four women are going through a period of not having sex - a rare occurrence. Carrie's relationship with Mr. Big has been going on for long enough that it is becoming less physical. Charlotte is dating a man who isn't interested in sex anymore, while Samantha discovers that not having sex can be erotic. Miranda hasn't had sex for months.
