Germantown High School is a secondary school located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
GHS, located in Germantown, is a part of the School District of Philadelphia.The school was built in 1914 which makes it one of the oldest in the country. Its students are mostly African-American, despite the previous German population of the region. Students come from the Logan, Germantown, Mt. Airy and Nicetown-Tioga(North Philadelphia) sections of the city. The team name is the Bears.
