Gillian Bailey

Gillian Bailey (born 14 June 1955 in Wimbledon, London) is a British academic and former actor. She is sometimes known as Gillian Bush-Bailey or Gillian Bush Bailey.

She was mainly known as a child actor. Her best known role was Billie in "Here Come the Double Deckers". Other roles included Phyllis in the 1968 television version of "The Railway Children" and Callie in "Follyfoot" (1971-73).

She was less prominent as an adult, although she did have some parts including Ravella in "Blake's 7". In the 1990s she drifted out of acting and began working mainly as a script reader. She is now a Fellow in Theatre Studies at the Royal Holloway University of London.

She is married with one daughter.
