Isaac Ledyard

Isaac Ledyard

Isaac Ledyard (November 5, 1755 or 1754 – August 28, 1803) was a physician and the health officer for the Port of New York and was an elector for the United States presidential election of 1800. He was born in Groton, Connecticut, the son of Youngs Ledyard (1731-1762) and Mary Avery (1730-1787). The town of Ledyard, Connecticut is named for his family.

HR 694

January 23, 1833. Read twice, and committed to the Committee of the Whole House to which is committed the bill (H. R. No. 694) for the relief of the heirs of Dr. Isaac Ledyard.
