Fjotland

Fjotland is a former municipality in Vest-Agder county, Norway.

It was created as Fjotland formannskapsdistrikt in 1837, but it existed only until 1841 when it was incorporated into Kvinesdal. Before the merger Fjotland had a population of 980. However, this union only lasted until 1858, when Fjotland split out again. At that time Fjotland had a population of 1,044.

On 1 January 1963 Fjotland was re-incorporated into Kvinesdal along with Feda. Before the merger Fjotland had a population of 1,244.
