Stadsbygd

Stadsbygd is a former municipality in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway.

It was created as Stadsbygd formannskapsdistrikt in 1837. In 1860 the district of Rissa was separated from Stadsbygd to form a municipality of its own. The split left Stadsbygd with a population of 1.828.

On 1 January 1964 the district of Ingdalen with 171 inhabitants was incorporated into Agdenes municipality. The rest of Stadsbygd, with 1.616 inhabitants, became a part of Rissa municipality.
