Limor Pereg

Limor Pereg

Limor Pereg (born 1977) is an Israeli-born painter and photographer. Commissioned by the Israeli government, she is most famous for her portrait of Pope John Paul II, a gift presented to the Italian government, in celebration of Jewish-Catholic relations.

Limor’s paintings are post-modern in style. One of her more popular exhibits is a series of paintings of women, highlighting different parts of their bodies, such as accentuating curves and distorting proportions. Proving the wide appeal of her work, many of her other paintings are commissioned by private owners for their own homes.
