October 9 ,1984 inPřerov ,Czech Republic ) is a Czech football player, who currently playsmidfielder for theBradenton Academics in theUSL Premier Development League .Although born in the Czech Republic, Galik grew up in
Sarasota ,Florida . After high school he committed to played college soccer atFlorida Atlantic University but never followed through. Instead he attended theIMG Academy inBradenton where he played two years with theBradenton Academics , scoring 1 goal in 30 appearances.On
April 1 ,2006 he signed a developmental contract with theNew England Revolution , but was waived at the end of the season after playing just two games. He signed forHarrisburg City Islanders in 2007, and made 5 appearances in the Islanders' championship-winning season, before returning to Bradenton.External links
