Les Mousquetaires

Les Mousquetaires is the parent company of various shop chains, there are various brands. The stores are independent entities in their own right, but are under the ownership of the Les Mousquetaires group. They are mostly suffixed by the term "marché" (French for market).

Brands

Intermarché

This is the main chain of supermarkets of the group, with 2,000 stores. It was founded in 1969 and is the first chain operating under the Les Mousquetaires brand. They have stores in France, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Poland, Bosnia, Serbia and Romania. The stores have a sales area of between 2,000 and 2,500 m² They mostly sell food and beverage products. Ecomarché

This is the rural supermarket chain, they are similar to Intermarché, they are on a smaller scale (sales area is between 400 and 800 m²). There are about 400 stores in Europe, and Ecomarchés can be found in Belgium, Portugal and France. Restaumarché

This is the chain of restaurants in France, and are normally found in large shopping parks owned by the Les Mousquetaires (known as Les Marchés des Mousquetaires). Le Relais des Mousquetaires

These are rural convenience stores, founded in 1989. Netto

:"This Netto is in no way affiliated with the Danish discount chain Netto"Netto (formerly "Comptoir des Marchandises") is, like its Danish namesake, it is a hard-discount store. Bricomarché

These offer decorating, DIY, materials, gardening and pet products lines. Founded in 1979, and operating 500 stores in 4 countries (Poland, Portugal, Belgium and France), each store's sales area is between 1,500 and 2,300m², and have three basic principles:

Logimarché

These offer DIY sales in rural areas, selling DIY, decorating and gardening products. This chain was formed in 1998 and operate 60 stores in France. Vêti

These stores are (as the name suggests) clothes stores. Formerly called "Vêtimarché", they offer several own brand lines of clothing, as well as some major brands. There are 159 stores (150 in France, 9 in Portugal). Its slogan is "My style, my prices, for my pleasure" (French: Mon modèle, mes prix, de mon plaisir). These are garages and car supplies stores, normally form part of a shopping centre (such as Les Marchés des Mousquetaires). There are more than 100 branches in France, offering around 3,500 products. They are broken down into two areas of 350m² each, half is a workshop, half is the sales area. taitonmarché

Staitonmarché are stores where they sell car supplies. They are open in Portugal in 28 places.
