"Strunius" is an extinct genus of coelacanthimorph lobe-finned fish from the Devonian period. It was about 10 cm (4 in) long.

Although it was a lobe-finned fish "Strunius"'s fins were supported by fin rays, which are more associated with ray-finned fish. Still, its skull, composed of two articulating halves, was characteristic for sarcopterygians, namely the Rhipidistia. Also, the skull was divided by a deep articulation, with both halves probably connected by a large muscle. The same system is seen in coelacanths and the better-known "Eusthenopteron".
